RetinaScope started with the insight that better screening for eye diseases can be achieved with a low cost, handheld fundus camera. Earlier and more frequent screening will start by moving the fundus imaging for diabetic patients from specialists to the GPs, optometrists and opticians.
RetinaScope started as a spinout of IDCP BV and is an independent health tech startup introducing their first product, the RetinaScope +, in the second half of 2023. IDCP BV will act as the distributor for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The product will become available in a bundle with dedicated software developed by RetinaScope and a proven Android phone as the computing platform.
