Based in Glasgow, IDCP Scotland was founded in early 2020 to expand the cooperation between IDCP Group and the University of Strathclyde. IDCP Scotland was set up together with University of Strathclyde Alumnus Jamie Thomson to achieve the goal of becoming a centre for research and development within the medical world, with special focus on ophthalmology and ehealth.
IDCP Scotland works closely with key industry professionals and academic institutions to develop and bring to market solutions that target pressing societal needs, especially in the fields of image guided screening and sensoring, contributing to the core mission of IDCP Group. Through our work, we hope to bring forward new technologies, incorporating digital analytics and AI to create innovative testing methods either from home or clinical practice. Developments created at IDCP Scotland are worked on in collaboration with our colleagues at IDCP Group and our expert advisory board. This allows us to create products that can seamlessly integrate with and improve the clinician’s workflow.
With the sales, marketing expertise and existing channels within IDCP Group, products researched and developed by IDCP Scotland have been tried and tested with our clinical partners to allow them to be brought to market quickly and efficiently. As part of IDCP Group, we strive to improve upon the level of care, treatment, and rehabilitation available to patients. By creating more affordable and accurate digital healthcare tools, it allows us to do our part in keeping the medical industry accessible and affordable while it grows and adapts into the digital world.
